I am a truth-seeker trying to get through life in this crazy world while also trying to sort out the rare truth from the abundant lies.

I have a good life in spite of all of that. I make the best of it and am able to find peace and joy. Thankfully, I live in what is still considered a free country. For this, I consider myself blessed.

I Can Change My Mind

I’m willing to truly open my eyes to see truth and change my mind when necessary. On so many levels and with so many issues, I have done exactly that. I have seen through much bs after having bought into so many lies for far too long. Thankfully, my eyes have been opened to certain truths – truths that were very difficult, in fact, even painful, to accept. But they exist with me to date, and I will share them as I see them.

I don’t have all of the answers of course. In fact, I still have more questions than answers.

I’m Okay To Sit On The Fence

Often in my truth-seeking mission, I have decided not to take a solid stance on certain issues or views. When it seems like most want to be right in their thinking, and convince you of that, I just want to be as close to truth as possible and be open-minded enough to change my thinking if need be.

It started when I had a thought years ago that when I got to the afterlife, things will be then fully known. I will realize that I had a few things wrong and I will have some surprises. After some contemplation about that, I decided to get as close to truth as I possibly could while on earth – here and now. I decided I would change my mind when necessary.

I prayed for truth. I discovered things I never expected to find. I did some 180s on issues that I had previously held near and dear.

Currently and probably for the rest of my life, I will always be ready to hear a better answer, a better explanation.

I have learned to do my best to put feelings and emotions aside. Despite how painful or difficult or ugly or beautiful or comfortable or uncomfortable that might be. And it was all of these things.

I urge you to see things for what they are, not for what you want them to be.
